Do you deliver and set up wedding cakes? What are the fees?
Yes, we deliver in Dublin and surrounding areas. We have a delivery schedule in Dublin for celebration cakes each week thus the delivery charge for wedding cake is only €10 or €15 in Dublin D1-D24. Outside of Dublin we calculate the delivery charge based on mileage. In general it is €0.7/km round trip. Often we deliver in the morning (or the night before) and the cake is kept chilled at the venue until the wedding reception starts. In this case we do not set up. However, certain cakes require set up at the venue in that case the set up fee is €25.
Do you offer wedding cake sampling boxes?
Yes, we do. You can book one on our website. You can choose 5 flavours from the list. These are available for delivery or collection.

We make bespoke wedding cakes to suit your imagination, style and the wedding. For bespoke styles you can contact us by contact form or email order@evescakes.ie.
We can also tweak the cakes on the website with a different coloured flowers, ribbon, buttercream etc.
What is the design process for bespoke wedding cakes?
What helps us to design a bespoke wedding cake is understanding the style of the wedding, wedding colours and / or any reoccurring elements in the wedding which can be individual to each couple.
But if the couple already has a vision of the style desired then we focus on this of course.
Inspirations pics, mood boards, flower and bouquet colours / style – all of these can be helpful in the design process.
There is a certain element of seasonality that might be relevant too. We then sketch the wedding cake and discuss the different options with the bride/groom.
