These flavours are for the inside of the cake. All cakes or coated in buttercream as buttercream is more versatile for styling and it set very well for safe transportation.
For naked cake, we will use the flavoured frosting inside and then white vanilla buttercream on the outside. For a naked or semi naked, the outer buttercream is spread thinly so that the sponge is seen through the buttercream. This add a very lovely rustic look.

1. Eve’s Signature Red Velvet with Cream Cheese Frosting
Red Velvet cake has such a long history and it growing in popularity each year. What makes red velvet so unique is its red bright colour and a tangy cream cheese frosting. We add buttermilk, cocoa powder and a splash of vinegar in the red velvet cake. The frosting is made with cream cheese and mascarpone cheese to make it extra luxurious. This is one of our most popular cakes.

2. Vanilla Cake with Vanilla Buttercream
This is a very traditional option however, it is loved by kids. So whilst you can say it is a safe option, then it hard to go wrong with vanilla cake. Our vanilla cake is light and fluffy, and our vanilla buttercream is creamy and indulgent. We only use Irish butter for our vanilla cake. For the vegan vanilla cake with use Flora vegan spread.

3. Vanilla Cream Cheese Frosting and Mixed Berry Compote
This cake is perfect for people that are looking for a lighter yet creamier cake than a normal buttercream cake. Frosting is made with cream cheese, icing sugar and a dash of cream resulting in a decadent and delicious creamy frosting. We combine this cake with a mixed berry compote which to add some freshness and berry flavour.

Super chocolatey double chocolate cake with rich moist chocolate sponge and chocolate ganache. Chocolate ganache is made with heating fresh cream and Belgian chocolate to make a rich frosting that resembled what you found find in chocolate truffles. It is truly a chocolate lover’s cake.
5. Eve’s Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting
This is another Eve’s signature recipe. Eve’s Carrot Cake is luscious and moist and rich. We grate many carrot into this cake to give it its authentic carroty taste. We use some raisins, dark sugar and chopped walnuts to add to its delicious flavour. Eve’s carrot cake is topped with cream cheese frosting which makes the cake absolutely divine.

This is our Number 1 cake when it comes to popularity. Ireland just loves good ol’ chocolate biscuit cake. We mix crunchy digestive and rich tea biscuits with Belgian chocolate and Irish butter. We also add a few secret ingredients to make it just perfect in texture and mouth-watering in flavour. This is a party pleaser and good choice for a wedding cake bottom tier.

7. Salted Caramel Buttercream
This is one of our newest flavour. We mix salted caramel into buttercream and this results in a rich yet wonderfully balanced buttercream. A touch of salt really brings our extra flavours in ingredients and balances otherwise sweet flavours. This flavour is wonderful in cupcakes and in birthday cakes.

8. Cookies and Cream
This is another family favourite cake. We use rich and moist chocolate sponge and mix in Oreo cookies in vanilla buttercream. Cookies and Cream flavour looks apart and tastes even better. Kids love this family as it is a perfect balance of chocolate and vanilla flavour.
Chocolate Oreo Drip Cake
This is another traditional flavour yet, it is still very popular. Nearly everyone loves coffee and it goes wonderfully in cake resulting in a rich sumptuous taste. We match our coffee cake with vanilla sponge and coffee buttercream.
This is no ordinary lemon cake, we put in extra effort for a lovely lemony flavour throughout the cake. The lemon sponge has grated lemon zest and we squeeze some lemon juice over the cake when it comes out of the oven. Our delicious lemon cake is matched with lemon buttercream. It is light and fresh.

However, if the wedding cake many tiers then couples tend to choose more traditional flavours for the larger tiers and then more contemporary flavours for the smaller tiers. For the top tier they normally choose their favourite flavour as this is often frozen for their first wedding anniversary.
Can you freeze a wedding cake?
Yes, you can but you must follow your freezer’s manufacturers guide. Best is to freeze a wedding cake in slices for a few months. However, if you do want to freeze it for longer then make sure you have wrapped it safely. We recommend to place your cake in a food box inside a food box as freezer burn may dry out your cake. Always allow it plenty of time to defrost in the fridge before eating.
Can I mix more than one flavour in one cake?
We only allow this on wedding cakes where you can choose different flavours of frosting between different layers of one cake. If your cake has more than one tier then of course you can choose a different flavours for each tier.
Can I have chocolate biscuit as my wedding cake flavour?
Yes, of course you can. As chocolate biscuit cake is dense and heavy, we can only make it as the bottom tier. If all of your cake is in chocolate biscuit then it can be the flavour of your bottom, middle and top tier. It is a very popular cake flavour and a good choice for wedding cakes. Eve’s chocolate biscuit cake is absolutely yummy!
Can I have macaroons for my wedding?
Yes, we offer a range of macaroons to match your wedding cake and cupcakes. Macaroons are very popular toppers for wedding cupcakes as they add a touch of elegance. We even offer macaroons as a wedding party favour so you can thank your guests in style.
Can I change my wedding cake flavour later?
As long as you allow us 5 days’ notice we can make changes to your wedding cake flavour.
What is your best cake flavour?
Eve’s favourite wedding cake flavour is a combination of chocolate ganache and salted buttercream with chocolate sponge. This gives flavours of snicker bar and is heavenly for a wedding cake flavour. It rich and the salt gives it a wonderful balance. It is suited for rustic naked wedding cakes or fully coated traditional wedding cakes too.
Do you offer a sampling box?
Yes, we do, we offer a wedding cake sampling box of 5 flavours and they come in a shape of cupcakes or mini slices.
Do you do cake flavours in vegan options?
Yes, we do offer vegan cakes in different flavours. However, as we are only started in vegan cakes, the flavours may be more limited than normal cake flavours. With experience and time we are aiming to offer different vegan options.
